1 day to go

I'm really excited because we're leaving for England tomorrow and really sad because I won't see my friends.

5 days to go

I'm very excited about going away. It is my first flight on an airplane and I'm already 9 years old. This week, before we leave I'm going to see lots of friends. I'm having dinner with Ben B twice and breakfast with Jack and Ben R before school. This week I'll pack my suitcase. I'm sharing a suitcase with Mum. My sister is sharing a suitcase with Dad.

Preparation

In preparation for our trip, I have been collecting all the things I need and spending lots of time with my friends because I know I will miss them while I am away.
